James Wilde

After a number of years working in Film & Television Production firstly as an assistant director and then as a location manager, James, prompted by being given an impromptu role by a director he was filming with, decided to take the unusual step of returning to one of his original passions and train to become an actor.

In addition to acting James is also a committed ‘flaneur’ and travel writer and graduated with an MA in Comparative Literature & Life Writing from Goldsmiths in 2013. He is currently writing a travel memoir entitled ‘Coyote’ based upon two years motorcycling across five continents between 2006 & 2008. He also has a screenplay in early development based upon his formative years growing up in Manchester with a working title of ‘Music is the Only Truth’. Other Interests include yoga, reading, cycling, cinema, strumming his guitar and avoiding rail replacement buses.
