Linda-Jean Barry

Trained at Central school of Speech and Drama, Linda-Jean started her career in Music Hall under the Arches at the famous Players Theatre, Charing Cross. She went on to play many lead roles in repertory theatre all over the country, notably Manchester Library, and Oldham Coliseum, which gave her her West End debut in Mike Harding's One Night Stand. Further West End major tours then followed, including Michael Freyn's NO. ONE, opposite Leo McKern, Sylvia in The Soldiers Fortune, directed by Shelia Hancock, Peep Bo in The Mikado, Bobbi Michele in The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, opposite Frank Thornton, and Ruby opposite Adam Faith in Alfie.

Feature Films include Grandma Jenny in Heart of Hope, for W4 films; Jennifer in Boogie Man for Jamio Films; the American Principal opposite Donnie Yen in Ip Man 4; and Mary in Here be Dragons a coming of age comedy, in which the eccentric character coming of age was her!!!

Last year Linda-Jean played the title role in Lilith; Linda in I'm re-evaluating Anne Heche, for Aurelia Pictures directed by Rex Glensy; Firecracker, directed by Andrew Lee Potts;  Isabel, the co - lead in 'Happy Retirement Mr Pickering', currently featuring in the festival circuit; Anou in 'Sand Parade'; and Mrs Hendrix in 'The Bridges We Cross' .

Lindy has also undertaken work in national campaigns such as the Postcode Lottery.
